Check the box
Ensure the box containing the device has the following items:
- Privacy Hub
- Charging Cable
- Reset Pin
- Quick Start Card
Plug in your device
Let it charge to 20% minimum. We
recommend full battery charge before use.
If the battery is completely dead, a minimum charge may be required.
Turn it on
Turn the device on by pressing the button next to the display screen.
The KLOK logo will appear as the device is booting up.
Wait for the home screen
The home screen will appear after a few moments.
A few seconds from power up, the cloud in the top right of the display should blink. This is the device searching for the cloud.
This process may take several minutes.
The cloud bubble fills in white with a checkmark in the center.
If your screen states “Internet Service Unavailable” then contact Customer Support
Upon seeing the white cloud with the checkmark, there will be a link icon blinking next to the cloud.
- Successful Connection: Device gains service, the link icon will stop blinking, and "4G" will appear to its right.
- Unsuccessful Connection: The cloud icon is empty and stops blinking. Try rebooting your device. If still not connecting after reboot, perform hard reboot by pressing home button for 20 seconds.
Finally your personal device(s) to the Klōk Hub using the QR Code (click the button once to move to the QR display).
To maximize the privacy:
1. Turn airplane mode on
2. Wifi calling on
3. Location services off
- The cloud icon stops blinking and remains blank. Try rebooting your device.
- If still not connecting after reboot, perform Hard Restart by depressing button for 20 seconds.
Reboot: With the device on, hold down the display button until the start-up screen turns back on, approximately 3-5 seconds.
Hard Reboot: Hold down the home button for approx. 20 seconds. During this time the device will turn off and on and boot up until the start-up screen. When it flashes white, release the home button. All caches and configurations are restored to default. The device will continue to boot to the home screen.
Factory Restart: Use the reset pin to softly press the small hole next to the sim tray, and at the same time press the home button for approximately 10 seconds. The screen will flash and the device will boot up 2x.
